Lions club members use their time and talents to provide hands-on assistance to enhance our communities. Through these experiences, members acquire new skills, cultivate lasting friendships, meet challenges head-on and learn a lot about themselves in the process. Looking for Fulfillment? When was the last time you did something for yourself? Something that made you feel wonderful? Something that made the world around you a better place? Volunteering your time not only helps those in need, but also gives you a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes from deep within. There is nothing like that feeling in the world.
We are always looking for civic-minded citizens who are willing to donate some time and effort toward making our communities better places in which to live. If you are interested in visiting South Milwaukee Lions Club , please E Mail to receive an invitation to our Club. You can join us and learn more about what Lions really do to help their fellow man. Membership in a Lions Club is by invitation only. Through membership, Lions not only help people in need, but they have opportunities to develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills which can be used in their work or in their personal lives.
Every year, the SM Lions Club host an annual festival, filled with three days of music, food, rides, games and more, during South Milwaukee’s Heritage Day’s week long celebration. Lionsfest takes place on the last weekend in July. Find out more about Lionsfest here.
